Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is tucked up one of the corridors, clean, and well-maintained, spacious compared to other places in Hong Kong, which is the best selling point for me. The service was helpful, especially in assisting with taxis and translating English into Cantonese, although the room spray didn't help much. The location is very close to the MTR station and the Tram station, making it easy to go everywhere in Hong Kong. The dining experience was good and sufficient to start the day. Overall, a comfortable stay with some areas for improvement.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with awesome views of the water, a massive shower room, and a separate lounge area, although lacking open windows or working A/C. The service is warm and helpful, with friendly staff who go above and beyond including holding luggage at a nominal charge. The location provides easy access to public transport and key attractions like HK Peak, with a 25-minute journey to the ferry terminal. The dining experience offers good variety at great value, while facilities are adequate, though some amenities come at an additional cost.
The hotel offers spacious rooms, some of which are a bit dated, but an upgrade to a high floor with a harbor view is lovely. The room was noisy, unfortunately. The location is very convenient with easy access to transportation and dining options.
I felt like the rooms were the largest we have had in Asia and while they were ok for the standard Hong Kong size, they still had some smell. Unfortunately, they weren't clean, with very dusty carpets and dirty curtains. The service was a mix; while some staff members were very unfriendly and quite surly and rude, others like the bell guy were super helpful, even allowing me to leave a bag for a couple of weeks for a nominal charge. The location was pretty good, especially if you want to stay on the west side of HK island, with trams and buses right in front of the hotel and two airport buses stopping opposite. However, the dining experience was on the boring side for the money they charged, and the quality was of a very low standard.
The hotel offers spacious rooms with a good view and a very convenient location with easy access to tram, taxi, and MTR. The service was friendly and helpful overall, though some staff members were cold. The location is excellent, close to transportation options and local amenities. The dining experience varied, with some good value options available. The facilities were satisfactory.
The hotel room was very spacious compared to other hotels in Hong Kong and offered an extremely good rate. However, it was not clean at all, with marked curtains and bed linen falling short of the expected standard for the price paid.
This hotel has a great location, close to local restaurants and transportation. The rooms are showing signs of decay but come with a proper desk and chair. The service is helpful, compensating for some unhelpful front desk staff. The dining experience is reasonable, with some limitations. Overall, a decent choice for the price.
The hotel has both positives and negatives. It offers spacious and clean rooms, but there is a persistent tobacco smoke smell. The location is excellent with easy access to transportation options, however, the surroundings lack diverse dining choices.
I had a mixed experience at this hotel. The room I was in had very good soundproofing, but it wasn't ready when I arrived, which was disappointing since I had informed them of my arrival time. The facilities were what you'd expect from a mid-range hotel and the soundproofing was adequate.
The hotel offers a mixed experience with spacious rooms and great views but faces issues with lingering cigarette smell until midday. The ambiance inside and out is lovely, especially on the upper floors that overlook the harbor.
I was pleasantly surprised by the spaciousness of the rooms in this hotel, especially for Hong Kong standards. The mini suite setup was a big plus, making the room quite big. However, the service, although friendly and attentive at times, had some issues, with communication challenges and a critical incident with a promised taxi. The location, while not the best, was still convenient with easy access to public transit options. The dining experience was a mixed bag, with staff being helpful but the food quality not meeting expectations.
The hotel offers spacious rooms in a good location not far from trains but struggles with cold temperatures indoors and signs of wear and tear. The service is a mix of helpful and uninviting experiences. The superb location near transportation options and business districts balances out some shortcomings. Dining options are varied but may lack timely refills. Overall, the facilities showcase room for improvement, yet the value for money remains reasonable.
The hotel rooms are very spacious compared to other hotels in Hong Kong and are clean, although they have a slight smell of cigarettes. The staff is friendly and accommodating, apologizing for any issues promptly and attending to requests. The location is perfect, close to public transport and surrounded by restaurants and shops. The dining experience could be improved in terms of taste, although there are good value options available. Overall, the hotel provides a comfortable stay with great convenience and friendly service.
The hotel offers spacious rooms that feel more like an apartment with a fantastic view. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, providing a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The location is excellent, with easy access to transportation and a variety of dining options nearby. The dining experience is satisfying, offering a mix of Western and local cuisine.
The hotel is in a convenient location, close to various shops and eateries. The rooms have a damp smell, and the bed was quite firm. The service was polite but lacking attention to detail. The dining options were of average value. Overall, the hotel needs refurbishment but offers a good location for exploring the town.
